Sweeping porcelain pathway leading round to the front door and surrounding gardens. Edged with a high tegula tumbled kerb, framing the raised artificial lawns either side. The Artificial Topiary balls are sitting in a bed of Cotswold chippingβs with some secret warm led lighting to create an ambient feature in the night.
Due to the size of the gardens around the house the clients wanted something completely maintenance free but were torn with the idea of having no green at the front of the house, mainly due to the size of their dark driveway and lack of planting behind. They also wanted paving that was easy to clean and lighting if it worked with the design
They un-sure on what would work and needed inspiring, the rest was left to us to point out its initial problems and work with there tastes and house style.
The challenge of this design also was the fact that your first point of direction led you straight to the kitchen door which as you can see is directly in front of you when you look in. With this in mind the curve was proposed and some raised platforms featured to stage and break up this flat expanse.
